Business Whirl: Tate new Barberitos marketing director
Athens-based Barberitos Franchising recently hired Rachel Tate as the new marketing director for the Tex-Mex restaurant franchising company.
Prior to joining Barberitos, Tate worked with Sea Island Resorts as sales manager, responsible for promoting sales within the travel industry. She was promoted to that position after working as public relations assistant manager for the company. Before that, she was public relations coordinator with Sea Island Resorts.
Originally from Macon, Tate attended Georgia College & State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with a concentration in advertising and public relations.
